Insurance companies generally will cover the costs of eye care, though usually not including elective refractive surgery procedures.

However, partial insurance coverage is usually available for patients desiring the ReSTOR lens implant who have visually significant cataracts. We will work with your insurance company to determine what coverage is available for your eye surgery.

Many patients use their medical savings plans to pay for their eye care or eye surgery, significantly reducing their net costs. If you have a medical flex plan, your employer's human resource department can provide you with further details.

Carey Vision Medical Group also offers low-interest and even no-interest payment plans through CareCredit®. These plans allow you to choose monthly payment options best suited to your goals. Please ask our surgery coordinators or Financial Services Office for more details.
