Thomas Pan O.D.
Carey Vision Medical Group is honored to introduce Thomas Pan, O.D., who is now on staff in our San Jose location.
Dr. Thomas Pan, O.D. was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and moved to the US when he was 3 years old. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He attended UCLA where he earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology with Departmental Honors. His Doctor of Optometry degree was awarded at UC Berkeley. His education includes pathology internships at the V.A. hospital in Tacoma, WA, as well as the Navajo Indian reservation at Shiprock, NM. Dedication to the well-being and health of his patients is his clinical goal.
Dr. Pan is a member of the California Optometry Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. He holds licenses as follows: National Board of Examiners in Optometry in Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease, Patient Care and California State Board of Optometry in Therapeutic Drug and Lacrimal Dilation and Irrigation.
He is currently accepting patients on Friday and Saturdays for comprehensive eye health examinations, contact lens fittings, as well as emergency care.
